Kemajuan Sainstek Mengakibatkan Perubahan Organisasi di Masa Depan

Abstract

This article aims to elaborate on the development of management science, particularly organizations, which have undergone changes due to advancements in science and technology (abbreviated as sainstek). Since the First Industrial Revolution (IR 1.0) marked by the invention of the steam engine in England, followed by IR 2.0 characterized by the discovery of electricity in the early 20th century, IR 3.0 in the 1960s with the emergence of computer technology, and now IR 4.0, which is fundamentally predicted to transform social life and the way humans work. In IR 4.0, business organizations are experiencing significant changes. Among the 14 principles proposed by Jacob Morgan, there are 8 principles related to sainstek advancements that transform organizations, namely: (1) Small teams are sufficient to distribute goods globally; (2) Connected workforce; (3) Intrapreneurial; (4) Operating like small companies; (5) Focused on "wants," not "needs"; (6) Adapting to change more quickly; (7) Innovation everywhere; and (8) Operating in the cloud.
