Analisis Penanganan Kredit Bermasalah Pada Produk Kredit Multiguna Pegawai: Studi Bank Bapas 69 Kantor Kas Kota Mungkid

Abstract

Employee multipurpose credit is one of the products offered by BPR, and the payment system implemented in this product is the automatic deduction of the debtor's salary every month. The payment system is relatively safe if the debtor still has active employee status, but credit risk arises if the employment status suddenly ends; this can occur due to early retirement or violations of discipline. This study aims to analyze how problematic credit handling is carried out at PT BPR Bank Bapas 69 Kantor Kas Kota Mungkid. This research focuses on the factors that cause problematic credit, the stages carried out in the resolution process, and the obstacles faced by the bank. This study uses data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. The result of the research conducted is the absence of monthly income from debtors, which is the main cause of non-performing loans. In response to this situation, the bank takes several steps in handling the problem, namely credit restructuring, issuing warnings in stages, and taking legal action. This research is expected to serve as practical consideration for BPR management in strengthening credit risk mitigation strategies concerning the employment status of debtors.
