Artificial Intelligence dan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Mahasiswa: Studi pada STIE Karya Ruteng

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of Artificial Intelligence on the critical thinking skills of students at STIE Karya Ruteng and to measure the extent of its influence. This research employed a quantitative descriptive approach. The population of this study consisted of all active students at STIE Karya Ruteng, while the sample consisted of 61 respondents selected using the Slovin formula and purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques included questionnaires, observations, interviews, and literature studies. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS through validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, simple linear regression analysis, t-tests, and coefficient of determination (R²) tests. The t-test results indicate that the use of Artificial Intelligence has a positive and statistically significant partial effect on students' critical thinking skills with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05). Furthermore, the co-efficient of determination (R²) test yielded a score of 0.382, implying that the Artificial Intelligence variable contributes 38.2% to explaining the variance in students' critical thinking skills, while the remaining 61.8% is influenced by other variables outside this research model
